About craniosacral therapy
A therapy that uses gentle manual pressure
applied to the skull, spine, and membranes to restore rhythmic flow to the
craniosacral system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid,
and surrounding membranes.
Craniosacral therapy is also a natural healing process which promotes the body's natural ability to heal itself. This is done by the practitioner making light contact on the body and tuning in to what is happening to the whole person.
Initially it will provide a deep sense of relaxation and through continual treatment release of tension and restriction will occur to restore optimum health and wellbeing.
Craniosacral therapy is gentle and safe for everyone, particularly babies, children, the elderly and people suffering from severe pain.
Craniosacral therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of ailments including:
- Birth trauma
- Menstrual pain
- Physical injuries
- Problems during and after pregnancy
- Chronic Fatigue
